Teams
Within our organization, we have 8 competitive VRC teams as well as 6 independent robotics students. And this number seems to grow year after year! Below, in order, are our 8 VRC High school teams, then our 6 independent robotics students:
5B is a rookie team consisting of Ravenna junior and sophomore: Samantha (Left) and Shyanne (Right). For a first-year team, they are super motivated and look forward to many successful tournaments in the near future!
5M is a three-year team consisting of three Ravenna seniors: Trey (Left), Robby (Middle), and Chase (Right). They have had a very successful season consisting of x2 Tournament Champion awards and look forward to the rest of their season!
5T is a first-year team consisting of three freshmen who attend Ravenna High School: Layton (Left), Keaton (Middle), and Caden (Right). They have been performing very well despite starting to compete later in the season compared to other teams.
5S is a third-year team and world qualifier. This team consists of a Ravenna senior and junior: Colby (Left) and Eli (Right). They have earned x1 Excellence Awards along with x1 Tournament Champion Award this season and look forward to the state championship as well as the Create U.S. Open.
5W is a third-year team consiting of one Ravenna seniors and two juniors: Wil (Left), Trey (Middle), and Collin (Right). This team has been competing well at the meets they have been a part of this season.
5X is a third-year team with three seniors from Ravenna: Jason (Left), Adam (Middle), and Quenton (Right). They have performed well at all their competitions and are working hard to qualify for state and nationals.
5Z is a third-year team consisting of two Ravenna seniors: Luke (Left) and Karson (Right). They are super motivated and are working hard to achieve their goal of qualifying for state and nationals.
5E is a first-year team consisting of two Ravenna sophomores: Guy (Left) and Sam (Right). They are determined to improve their robot and compete in the up-coming competitions.
Independent Robotics Students are the students who attend Ravenna High School who either don't have time to compete in competitions or choose to not build for the VRC competition in particular. Our independent students include: Sarah, Hannah, Kale, Mitchell, Gage, and Carter. Our independent robotics students build their own designed projects to complete their brainstormed tasks.
